Phil Julian - electronics flâneur, and the toast of Dalston, Darmstadt and Norwood Junction - presents his latest opus: The Young Person’s Guide To Voice Job.

The inevitable and wonderful successor to the popular Voice Job release, this album shares 16 new recordings from the same dream movie, using the corrupted user memory bank on a Yamaha TQ5 FM MIDI Expander.

The voice data was either left as found on the machine after a prolonged storage period (with a flat memory cell) or processed using Arno van Goch's "P-Farm" Genetic Algorithm software to generate iterations of the corrupted data.

There’s something here for everyone, be it the regular Phil Julian fan or the keen novice.
